Commercial cleaning in London is usually quoted as a contract: a set number of cleaner-hours per week, outside business hours, against a written specification. Small offices typically need between five and fifteen hours a week.
Daily tasks (bins, kitchen, washrooms, touchpoints), weekly tasks (desk surfaces, glass, skirting) and periodic tasks (carpet cleaning, high-level dusting, window cleaning). The specification is what you hold the contractor to.
Contractors should hold alarm codes and keys under a written procedure and be able to show staff vetting and insurance.
